Michigan sitting pretty with Melancon

After spending his entire life in the state of Louisiana, Lutcher High defensive tackle Rolando Melancon says he is ready to get out and see the world.

One of the stops high on his priority list is Ann Arbor, Mich., where the 6-2, 260-pound defensive lineman wants to see if the University of Michigan is a place he could spend the next four to five years of his life.

A four-star prospect and the No. 16 overall defensive tackle in the country, Melancon possesses 4.78 speed in the 40-yard dash, making him a candidate for really any position along the defensive line. The Wolverines join Tennessee and LSU at the top of Melancon's list.
