Three-star athlete has top five

Three-star quarterback/athlete Kellen Kiilsgaard (6-3, 215, 4.6) from Auburn, Wash., is one of the best all-around athletes from the Northwest out of the class of 2007.

Kiilsgaard is being recruited as athlete while most schools like him as a quarterback, some schools have offered him a scholie as a receiver and safety.

Kiislgaard had an outstanding junior season that saw him earn his League's Player of the Year at two different positions. He was offensive Player of the Year as a quarterback and defensive Player of the Year as a safety.

From his quarterback position Kiilsgaard passed for 800 yards and five touchdowns. He added 1,100 yards on the ground and rushed for 15 touchdowns.

Kiilsgaard has an early top five of ASU, Cal, Oregon, Stanford and Washington.

Kiilsgaard is also a superb baseball player who is getting looks from colleges and the major leagues for his skills on the diamond as a pitcher or outfielder. His record on the mound was 6-0 with 1.10 ERA. From the plate, he hit .500 with two homeruns and 22 RBIs.
