Richman stays home with BC
Three-star offensive tackle Nathan Richman made the short trip to Chestnut Hill on Wednesday to get a final look at Boston College. The 6-foot-7, 274-pounder got all of his questions answered by Jerry Petercuskie. Certainly the trip went well because earlier tonight Richman concluded his recruitment by committing to the Eagles over offers from Buffalo and Delaware.
"I called coach Petercuskie earlier and committed to him," he said. "For me, Boston College is just a good choice. They are local and all the coaches are really nice guys. In my mind, Boston College has the best combination of academics and football and is the best school to be at for an offensive lineman."
Richman confirms that throughout the process the Eagles were always on top.
"I think they always lead for me, but my parents wanted me to make sure I check everything out so that I can make the best choice," he said. "I can say that Boston College is the place I felt most comfortable and feel I should be going to. Coach Petercuskie told me about life as a player there and more. He gave me all the information I needed to decide."
