Can Cyclones keep pace with WR Anyiam?
North Garland (Tex.) wide receiver Hubert Anyiam has his fair share of offers heading into his final year of high school. The 6-foot-1, 165-pound prospect has pretty much the entire Big 12 coming after him, but is looking hard out of the Big 12 region at a pair of schools who have also offered. Iowa State is also making a charge for the three-star prospect and looks to be nipping at the heels of Anyiam's leaders.
"It's really Alabama kind of leading everybody right now. Them and Arizona," said Anyiam. "[Alabama] has offered. They told me verbally at the end of May and they sent it to me a week ago. I've had an [Arizona] offer for a long time. They offered during the school year."
Besides those two schools, Anyiam holds offers from the likes of TCU, Nebraska, Colorado, Texas A&M, Kansas State and Arizona State. Iowa State is also on his offer list and the Cyclones are making a big impression on the Texas wideout thanks in large part to the recruiting efforts of running backs coach Tony Alford.
