California an important state for UA recruiting
As previously discussed, Mike Stoops and the rest of the Arizona coaching staff have made impacts not only in-state but also in Texas as well.
Although UA recruits in other state besides those besides those we've reviewed, the third major piece of this recruiting puzzle is the state of California. With the amount of talent that is in California, the Arizona coaching staff has proven that, along with many other top schools in the country, they can make an impact and pull in some good players from the state.
While this article will focus on recruiting classes from 2005 until now, it would be a disservice to the coaching staff and the players if we ignored what is now considered to be the best player to come out of the Class of 2004, Antoine Cason.
Cason went from having an offer from Arizona, Oregon State, and Boise State, to being widely considered as one of the best cornerbacks in the nation.
