Big Mo ready to go
Sometimes things just click between player and coach.
After spending two years platooning on the scout team offensive line Maurice Miller finally found someone else on the sideline that he meshed with: his new offensive line coach Art Kehoe.
In just one spring under Kehoe Miller rocketed to the top of the depth chart at right guard and finds himself in a position to start what could be a run of three years as a starter on the offensive line.
"The difference in this past spring I guess for me it took more time to get the grasp of things quicker. I think we got some other coaches in here kind of saw of my potential and saw the kind of offense I came from in the past, it's used for running. I grew accustomed to coach Kehoe and coach Werner than some of the other coaches in the past," Miller said. "Not taking anything away from the others. But these coaches kind of give you the edge to figure out what you want to do in the offense and I clung on to that quick as the spring went on and I kept on getting better and better."
