Hines getting a close look at main schools

Three-star Bowling Green, Ky., offensive tackle Stuart Hines says he's not close to making a college decision, but he spent a good portion of the summer taking visits that will ultimately help him complete the process.

Hines (6-5, 275, 5.1) camped at Kentucky, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Tennessee.

"And on the way home from West Virginia, we stopped by Marshall for an unofficial visit," he said. "We got to tour the campus with one of the graduate assistants and meet quite a few of the coaches and players while we were there. It was a good trip.

"I didn't really see anything (this summer) that will be a deciding factor for me, but it gave me a better idea of what all the schools are like."

Hines has scholarship offers from UK, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Marshall, Wake Forest, Troy and Western Kentucky.
