Is Florida WR Clements nearing a decision?

Naples, Fla., Barron Collier wide receiver Matt Clements (6-foot-2, 185 pounds, 4.34 seconds) is a top wide receiver prospect and has the offer list to prove it. Clements, who has close to 20 scholarship offers, has three schools on top of his list. Right now, Virginia is on the outside looking in. Wide receiver is a focus for the Cavaliers in 2007. Can UVa crack the list and nab the Sunshine State standout?

"Right now, I have a top three of Ohio State, South Carolina and Pitt. Virginia is would be in the four spot if I had to place them," said Clements.

Virignia, led by assistant coach Bob Diaco, is a school that interests Clements.

"I am very interested in Virginia. They have a wonderful academic reputation and they have proven they can play with the best in the ACC. I mean, they knocked off Florida State last year. From what Coach Diaco has told me, I am very interested."

How can Virginia crack the top three?
