Three-star trying to set visits

Three-star linebacker Andre Ferguson (6-3, 205, 4.59) from Redlands (Calif.) East Valley is a player with a lot of upside.

Ferguson is athletic, long and lean. His best days on the gridiron are ahead of him and with a good senior season his stock could soar. He is expected to blow up this season. He is far from the finished product and what he shows already is very enticing for D-I schools.

In his first year as a starter, Ferguson earned all-league honors after he racked up 98 tackles, eight sacks, five deflected passes, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Ferguson has offers on the table from Kansas, UTEP, San Diego State, Wyoming, Utah and recently one from Arizona State.

"I just received an offer from Arizona State approximately three weeks ago," Ferguson said. "I was trying to set an unofficial visit to ASU but something came up so I am trying to work out another date with coach Tom Osborne before school starts."
