Rouse talks about his commitment

On Saturday afternoon, Joliet Catholic linebacker, Kevin Rouse, announced that he was committing to Iowa over N.C. State. Rouse, who is rated by Rivals.com as the seventh-best player in the state of Illinois for 2007 and a three-star prospect. Rouse talks about making the call to Iowa City to Coach Ferentz, what stood out about Iowa, and much more.

Q: What made Iowa stand out over all of the scholarship offers you received?

ROUSE: I felt real comfortable there. They are a real blue collar team and I am a real blue collar player. The coaching staff is real stable and I really liked all of the guys on staff. I think Iowa has a chance to win and I wanted to be a part of it.
