Secondary set on shuffle

Maybe Ambrose Wooden should mail a few thank you notes.

When head coach Charlie Weis offered up praise for one of Notre Dame's starting cornerbacks over the weekend, the Irish head coach did so with a caveat. Weis appreciated the off-season improvements Wooden made, but the coach didn't duck one motivational angle that's working for the senior.

There's a chance Wooden could lose his job.

"He's had a good camp," Weis said. "One of the reasons, besides him working hard, he's got people breathing down his neck.
