Iltis schedules official visit with CU

The Buffaloes have already landed five offensive line prospects from the Class of 2007 and they are still looking for more. Mike Iltis, a 6-foot-3, 285-pounder from Riverview (Fla.) High claims scholarship offers from Colorado, Missouri and South Florida.

He has scheduled an official visit with Colorado for the September 15th weekend, when the Buffaloes' take on Arizona State.

"Even though they have those commits, the coaches tell me they're still really interested in me and I'm one of their top guys," Iltis said in regards to CU. "So I want to go out there and check out the campus. We'll see what happens.

"USF is obviously a lot closer to home and would be better and less expensive for my parents than having to fly to Colorado to watch me play."

Tennessee, Florida, Auburn and North Carolina are all waiting to evaluate Iltis' senior season.

A two-way starter at the high school level, Iltis projects as an offensive lineman for college. "I go 100 percent, 100 percent of the time," he said. "I have a passion for the game and I won't quit until the game is over or I pass out. I give it my all no matter what and always have a positive attitude."
