And the award goes to..

Fall camp is now in the books. Everyone knows about the quarterback derby, but there was plenty of other things to watch develop over the course of the last few weeks. We now present the Fall Camp Awards, in all of their glory and splendor....

Derrek Richards, WR

Going into fallball, Richards had the most to lose out of any returning starter. Out of the four No. 1s on the depth chart at wideout, he was most in danger of losing his job, thanks to an extremely deep pool of young players, all clamoring for a starting role. Richards had only one big game (2 TDs against New Mexico) on his collegiate resume, questionable hands and not nearly the size of guys like Bradon Godfrey and Sean Smith. But when camp wrapped up, the American Fork speedster had quieted all the critics and cemented his spot on the field.
