Eagles come screaming into Corvallis
A familiar face will greet the Oregon State football team tonight when it takes on Eastern Washington at Reser Stadium.
Former OSU running back Ryan Cole is now the Eagles' starter. Last season, he rushed 879 yards and 14 touchdowns, en route to earning second team All-Big Sky Conference honors. Cole left OSU after the 2004 season in search of more playing time. He was one of the Beavers' prized recruits in 2002.
"Things have obviously worked out very well for Ryan," said OSU coach Mike Riley. "I thought he was a good back when he was here. He has done very well there and has become a key part of their offensive attack."
