The Big Bear Speaks

The similarities are eerie. It is almost like looking through a translucent window at your twin on the other side. Baylor comes into this week's game against WSU at 1-1. The Bears crushed a regional opponent [Northwestern State] as did Wazzu. Baylor rested some primary offensive contributors [running back Paul Mosley and receiver Dominique Zeigler] in order to keep them as healthy as possible for this week's game as the Cougars did with running back DeMaundray Woolridge. Both squads have punters that are amongst the best in the nation and both teams were not predicted to win their conferences this year but do have realistic hopes of getting to a bowl game. As if all that was not enough, head coach Guy Morriss' offense is structured in a similar fashion to WSU's - focusing on the passing game for a good amount of their offensive production. So with all those similarities making it seem as though they are looking in a mirror, Morriss is, of course, impressed with what he sees of Wazzu so far.
