Safe drivers

They're big, really big.


And considering the understated nature of tight end John Carlson, the fact he acknowledged the stature of this stat proves just how important Notre Dame's offense counts turnovers among its in-game goals. The Irish haven't turned the ball over yet this season and haven't fumbled on offense either.


"Turnovers are huge," Carlson said. "One of the biggest stats of the game I think, and probably the main reason we don't turn the ball over is that guy over there, Brady Quinn."
