Tar Heels remain in front for Sturdivant

Quantavius Sturdivant of Oakboro (N.C.) West Stanly is healthy and back on the field, having helped his team to a win last week.

Sturdivant was the hero of West Stanly's season-opening victory, but he pulled his hamstring in a loss to Monroe (N.C.) Sun Valley the following week.

The 6-2, 225-pound Sturdivant, the No. 18 player in the state of North Carolina in Rivals' 2007 ranking, has planned an official visit to Florida for the weekend of September 30th, when the Gators welcome Alabama to the Swamp.

While Sturdivant is looking forward to spending time in Gainesville, he still considers the Tar Heels to be his favorite.
