Davis leading the youngsters
A bruising fullback with tons of potential, Bryson Davis, has arguably been the most consistent player for the Bulldogs. Davis a sure-fire NFL prospect with his size, speed, and hands plans to leads the Bulldogs by example.
Mississippi State's defensive seniors have gotten the credit so far with the Bulldogs struggles early on. Senior fullbacks Casey Rogers and Bryson Davis have made sure that the young freshmen that the Bulldogs are counting on have not hung their heads about the offensive struggles.
"Just being seniors is helping us out a lot," Davis said. "Of course, we do not want to lose, but we are fighting, we are playing hard, and giving it all we got. We just have not been able to get anything going offensively.
"Going through a lot of losing you can find yourself getting down, or questioning your ability, but we have went through that; we know how to handle the adversity that we are going through."
The third year under Coach Croom has not started as the Bulldogs have hoped, but it is no comparison to the way Coach Croom has turned this program around.
