Chambers soft on commitment to MSU
Lee Chamber's commitment to Mississippi State is listed as a soft commitment, the talented running back from Coffeeville confirmed this Monday night.
"I will take all of my five visits," Chambers said Monday. "I'm still committed to State, but I'm keeping all my options open. My mom wants me to make sure I'm making the right choice."
Chambers, a Clarion Ledger Dandy Dozen member, has rushed for over 775 yards and 11 touchdowns.
"We are having a good season so far," Chambers said. "We are 3-2 and have a chance to finish up strong."
According to Chambers a lot of schools are showing interest in his abilities this fall.
"Right now Miami, South Carolina and Alabama are really recruiting me hard," Chambers said. "Southern Mississippi, Memphis and Tennessee are also recruiting me a lot."
"My taking all of my visits has nothing to do with how MSU is doing this season," Chambers said. "Even if they were 3-0 instead of 1-3 it wouldn't make a difference."
According to Chambers he is working hard to make sure academics won't be an issue in qualifying.
"I'm studying hard and focusing on making my grades," Chambers said. "I'm working hard to make sure my grades won't be an issue."
