Romine learning how the other half lives

There aren't many programs in the country who can claim comparable success to Tulsa Union over the past 10 years, just the same there aren't many that could imagine an 0-3 start for the mighty Redskins.

No one was in more disbelief than the players themselves. 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle Matt Romine was disgusted with his team's abysmal start, but says that in spite of the team's slow beginning he's not about to give up hope for a big season.

Under new head coach Kevin Wright, who Romine says got a heavy dose of the blame around Tulsa, the Redskins collected their first win last weekend while playing Enid. Romine got a good look at the injury that has had Sooner fans buzzing.
