Motivation on the Farm

One thing is certain; the USC Trojans are not used to losing. If coming off a defeat isn't sufficient motivation, then playing an 0-8 team in a brand new stadium should be.

After Thursday's short workout we talked to tight end Fred Davis and the linebacker playing fullback Thomas Williams about the game.

"Definitely when you come off a loss you get motivated already," Davis said Thursday evening. "Even though they are 0-8, they played teams good until halftime."

Typically of a Pete Carroll coached team, the players study the opponent, but don't worry about anything outside of themselves.

"It has never been about who we play or where we play," Thomas Williams stated. "It is always about us getting another opportunity to go out and show our talents and complete to play the best we can as a team."
