Arizona pulls off improbable win

In one of the most shocking upsets of the season, the University of Arizona upset 8th ranked California on Saturday. It now brings the Wildcats' record to 5-5 on the season, 3-4 in the Pac-10.

California scored first on a 95-yard punt return by DeSean Jackson just under five minutes into the game. Arizona scored shortly after on a field goal from the leg of Nick Folk from 39 yards out.

After California put ten more points on the board, making the score 17-3, some fans began to exit the stadium. However, these actions were quite premature. Arizona scored three consecutive touchdowns, which was enough for the Wildcats to pull out the victory.

Willie Tuitama started his second game in a row on Saturday, and for the second straight week rose to the occasion. Tuitama completed 17 of 34 pass attempts for 202 yards and no interceptions.

His leading receivers on the day were senior Syndric Steptoe and sophomore Mike Thomas. Steptoe and Thomas combined for ten catches for 136 yards.
