Video: Anderson talks Hargrave & UGA
One of the 2006 signees is Georgia's class that did not make it academically was offensive lineman Justin Anderson. Anderson signed with UGA out of Irwin County High School, but had to make a stop at Hargrave Military to try to get eligible for Georgia. We traveled up to Hargrave recently to get the latest on 'Bean'. Get all the scoop inside.
Everyone knew going in that Anderson was one to watch when talking about academics. He worked hard during his senior year and just about pulled it out at the end.
He fell a little short and was forced to head to Virginia for Prep School before getting to Athens.
Hargrave Military Academy is one of the top Prep Schools in the country and they get talent year in and year out. Anderson started at right guard for Coach Prunty this year and had a very good season.
Anderson, better known as "Bean" to everyone has been working hard at HMA. He has really focused on academics and getting that trust score since arriving in the middle of August.
All "Bean" needs is a test score and he could receive good news any day now. He took the ACT and SAT and his scores are due back very soon.
If Anderson achieves the score he needs on either test, the he is expected to be in Athens early in January.
UGASports.com traveled up to Hargrave Military Academy recently and we caught up with Anderson for this exclusive interview.
He talks about what he has learned at Hargrave, how he feels about his tests, how he played this season on the football field, what the biggest differences have been, and more.
