Little has changed for Erie standout

Athlete Maurice Williams's Erie (Penn.) Strong Vincent squad's comeback bid fell just short, as the Colonels' season came to an end on the short side of a 23-20 defeat at the hands of General McLane on Saturday night.

Williams led his team from 23 down at the beginning of the fourth quarter, to just narrowly missing out on a District 10 title.

Strong Vincent finished the season with a 9-2 record, with both losses coming to General McLane.

Two-star Strong Vincent senior running back Donte Harden, who holds offers from Akron, Buffalo, Kent State, Ohio and New Hampshire, finished the game with 124 yards and a touchdown.
