Tuesday November 14
It was a usual Tuesday morning and I woke up not wanting to even get out of bed. I hadn't gone to bed until 1 the previous night so my body was up, but my mind was still asleep. I got a shower, got dressed, and woke my dad up to drop me off to school. I arrived just in time to catch the last bit of films before it was time for school to start. School went by extra slow and falling asleep in class didn't make it any better. After a long day in school, getting tons of homework, eating, and lifting weights it was time for practice. We hit the field to get ready to start preparing for South Cobb. Everyone was focused and trying to get better. We stayed on offense for what seemed like forever, had defense for about 15 minutes, and then ended practice with some sprints. We had a good day, but there still some things that were confusing us on defense. We left the field and headed straight for the lodge to watch some film. I got my first good look at their tailback, and their 6'3 quarterback who was committed to Duke. They looked pretty impressive and I knew we were going to be in for a fight come Friday night. Watching film was finally over after 15 minutes of watching and analyzing. I headed straight for the showers, got dressed, and called Natalie to come pick me up since I still don't have a truck. We headed over to my friends house, ate some dinner with them, and then watched a South Cobb game on Comcast before looking at some trucks I would possibly be buying. After dinner Natalie dropped me home. I talked to my family for a little bit, and then headed up to my room straight to start getting on the homework. I studied until I got a headache and called it a night.
