Gators, Rebels pursing 4-star Smith
On the field this weekend Florida is considered to be a heavy favorite over instate rival Florida State. Off the field, in the recruiting war for Bushnell (Fla.) South Sumter outside linebacker Kendall Smith, the exact opposite is true. Both Florida and Ole Miss are making a strong run at the four-star prospect, where does he currently stand?
His senior season came to a sudden halt this past Friday.
"We ended up getting knocked out in the second round of the playoffs by Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles," said the 6-foot-1, 207-pound head hunter. "I had a pretty good season. I think I had 114 tackles, 1 sack, 2 interceptions and 15 tackles for loss."
