Burd is confident that UVa will be a threat
Chesterfield (Va.) Matoaca wide receiver Kris Burd (6-foot-2, 185 pounds, 4.5 seconds) knew that Virginia was the school for him all along. The talented wideout finally returned to UVa to take in a home game and he was excited by the result, as the Cavaliers knocked off Miami. Burd, who is the process of playing for a state title, sees great things in Virginia's football future, especially after spending time with fellow recruits.
"First, I want to say that Saturday was a huge win for UVa. I don't care if people say that Miami is down. When you play a team with that much speed and talent and you win, it is a great win," said Burd.
Burd had the chance to talk to some of the members of Virginia's 2007 recruiting class.
