Glenville duo ready to visit Iowa
Cleveland Glenville teammates Jermale Hines and LeBron Daniel are ready to make an official visit to the University of Iowa this weekend. For the duo, who helped lead Glenville to a 10-2 record this season, it will be their first official visit of the year.
Daniel, who could play either defensive end or linebacker in college, has scholarship offers from Iowa, Purdue, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana, and is also looking at Michigan, who has yet to offer. Hines, a four-star prospect, has many of those same offers plus several more, including ones from Michigan, West Virginia, and Louisville.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Hines, who runs a 4.59 forty, will visit Ann Arbor next weekend. This weekend in Iowa City, Hines and Daniel will also have the chance to catch up with two former teammates in Iowa freshmen Arvell Nelson and Derrick Smith.
Both Hines and Daniel have visited Iowa City before, including a trip to Iowa's camp this past summer as part of the bus tour that their coach, Ted Ginn, Sr., organizes each year.
