Evans moves U-M visit back a week

Michigan is starting to build a pipeline with one of the top programs in the state of Virginia, Richmond's Varina High School. Last year, they somewhat unexpectedly grabbed four-star running back Brandon Minor from the perennial state championship contender and this year they are targeting linebacker prospect Marell Evans from the same school.

A few weeks back, Varina assistant coach Blanda Wolfe reported that Michigan had offered the 6-2, 210-pound Evans a scholarship, his first from a BCS Conference school. Wolfe had also reported at the time that Evans was slated to visit Michigan the weekend of Dec. 1, but that date has been changed.
