Wilbur making visits
Apopka (Fla.) defensive end Kyle Wilbur made an official visit to Central Florida this past weekend and has another official visit scheduled, to Colorado State, this coming weekend.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder liked what he saw in Orlando.
"It went good, I really enjoy it," he said. "I enjoyed the football players, the campus and everything about it up there."
His favorite part of the visit was being around the current Golden Knights players.
"I liked hanging out with all the guys, all the football players, I felt like I could really relate to them," Wilbur said.
Toward the end of his visit, he got the chance to sit down with Central Florida head coach George O'Leary.
"He talked to me about why he's recruiting me," Wilbur said. "He said he likes the way I perform on the field. He thinks I can be a really good open space type of guy."
