The wait is over for Grosso

Before his visit to Northwestern last weekend, offensive tackle Anthony Grosso told WildcatReport that he wanted to see if the school was the right fit for him. When he returned, it seemed that Northwestern fit Grosso like a glove. He called the school his "definite leader," but he wanted to visit at least one other school to use as a basis of comparison.

Then, just 48 hours later, Grosso decided to pull the trigger, and he committed to head coach Pat Fitzgerald on Wednesday night to become the 18th member of Northwestern's Class of 2007.

Grosso had scheduled an official visit to Michigan State this weekend, but he has cancelled that trip. West Virginia and Penn State were two other schools in the mix, and he had a visit to Morgantown scheduled for January 12th.
