Big-time DT sets official visit to the Plains

West Monroe (La.) four-star DL Luther Davis has been as busy as any recruit of late, hosting college coaches for in-home/school visits as well as taking trips to Baton Rouge, La. and Norman, Okla. in the month of December.

Auburn assistants Steve Ensminger and Terry Price have both made trips to West Monroe in the last two weeks to meet with Davis, and it paid off as the Tigers have solidified one of his two remaining official visits.

Ensminger, who's son Steven guided West Monroe to a state title in 2005 and signed with Auburn in February, met with Davis and his mother in their home two weeks ago.
