Boyd sets UK visit; makes trip to WVU

It's been almost nine months since Kentucky picked up its first verbal commitment in the football Class of 2007.

That player, Indianapolis Warren Central defensive lineman Jeff Boyd, recently completed a senior season which saw him lead his team to a 15-0 record, the Class 5A state championship and all-state honors. Along the way, he recorded 42 tackles, 23 quarterback hurries, a school-record 18 tackles for loss and 10 sacks, making life miserable for opposing offenses and giving UK a little bit of a challenge to hold onto his commitment.
