Corley still looking at Tide?

Rumors surfaced Tuesday that McGill-Toolen defensive end Sidell Corley had eliminated Alabama from his list of favorites. Before his senior season began Corley, 6-foot-4, 250-pounds, committed to Florida but Alabama slowly made a push for the Mobile native and the Tide is still in the mix for the Rivals100 prospect.

"I never said Alabama was out for me. They are still one of my favorites and have been for a long time. In fact, me and my dad are going to Tuscaloosa Thursday to watch them practice. I'm close with Coach (Joe) Kines and I want to go out and see how he handles practice. He's a lot of fun to be around and we have a tight bond," Corley said. "Alabama is still getting an official visit from me. That is for sure. I am still waiting to meet with the new head coach but other than that nothing has changed. I hope Coach Kines stays because he's a great guy and coach. He was a major reason Alabama was so high on my list. But if he doesn't I'll be like everyone else and have to wait to meet the new guy and see how we get along. I'm curious like everyone else."
