Ohio still loaded for 2007 hoops talent
This time last year Ohio's 2007 basketball class looked to be by far the best ever. Players like O.J. Mayo, Bill Walker, and Kosta Koufos were headlining the star studded group. Of that holy trinity only Koufos remains, but the class is still loaded. It might not be up to the standards of 2006, but none the less this is a stellar class.
Head and shoulders above the rest in this class is Koufos. The 7-foot-1 center from Glen Oak High School clearly established himself as the top player due to his superior performance over the summer. The European style big man can play multiple positions and has rare skill for such a young big man; he is the only five star prospect in the state and is almost a sure fire McDonald's All-American.
