Rowe has Ole Miss still in the mix

Three official visits down, two to go for California four star defensive linemen Kenny Rowe.

Rowe recently took an official visit to Ole Miss and came away pleased with his trip.

"It was cool," Rowe said Thursday. "The facilities and campus was some of the best I have seen so far. I like their coaching staff a lot; Coach (Ed) Orgeron and Coach (Ryan) Nielsen are recruiting me hard."

Rowe had taken previous trips to University of California and to Arizona; he has trips remaining to Fresno State and Oregon. When asked how his trip to Oxford (MS) stacked up with his first two visits, the standout defender was quick to respond.

"They are right up there with everyone else," Rowe said. "I plan on taking all five of my visits and will make a decision a day or two before signing day. I don't have a favorite right now, everyone is pretty much even."

Rowe led his Long Beach Poly team in tackles; he registered over 100 tackles and 17 sacks earning himself all CIF honors and his leagues MVP.

"My trip to Ole Miss surprised me," Rowe said. "It was a lot nicer than I expected. Coach Orgeron wants me to come in and play right away, early playing time is very important to me."
