Chapman, Canby looking for wins

Canby, Ore. 6-foot-11 big man Clint Chapman got his senior season off to a great start with a 32-point performance and followed that up with a 24 point, 10-rebound showing. While the future Texas Longhorn is dominating for Canby High, the team has struggled, going 1-3. The preseason state-ranked 6A team should see better days ahead with some help from a few players coming off of the football team after the playoffs.

Chapman says he is pleased with his performance, but wants wins and he wants them soon.

Chapman is part of a three-man early signing class, teaming with Aldine forward Gary Johnson and Blair Academy power forward Alexis Wangmene. The three-man class is ranked in the top 15 nationally.
