Rutgers made a believer out of Guyton

If Greg Schiano wants to make a promotional video for taking an official visit to Rutgers, he might consider Homestead (FL) High School athlete A.J. Guyton for the leading role. The #57 ranked prospect in the Rivals.com listing of "athletes" (multi-position players) was at no loss for words when asked to describe this weekend's visit.

"Man, it was real great, man - like the time of my life!" said Guyton. "I loved it!"

Enough to move the Scarlet Knights towards the top of his college wish list?

"I say Rutgers is the team to beat for me right now," said Guyton. "If I had to grade them, I would give them an A+, and on a scale it would be 10. It was like home."

Guyton's host for the trip was freshman Julian Hayes, but he spent most of his time with Homestead graduate Eric Foster.
