Hudgins makes commitment official
One of three early enrollees that signed with the Buffaloes yesterday, Drew Hudgins is anxious to further his football career at the University of Colorado.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pound defensive end was a second-team JCAA All-American and first-team all-Mission Conference selection as a sophomore at Highland Community College in Kansas this fall. He recorded 93 tackles and 19 quarterback sacks.
Hudgins is the type that prefers to let his game on the field do the talking, but he was kind enough to answer a few questions about his commitment to CU and his recruiting process.
I know I have asked you this before, but what was it that really made Colorado stand out in your recruiting process?
Drew Hudgins: "Basically I just really liked the coaching staff and the atmosphere in Boulder and around the football team."
If you didn't end up signing with CU, where do you think you would have signed?
"Probably North Carolina."
