Wangmene delivering for Blair Academy

Alexis Wangmene is off to a great start for Blair Academy. The future Texas Longhorn has put together a string of consistent games for 9-1 Blair Academy. Wangmene, who is averaging 15 points and eight rebounds in limited minutes due to blowouts, has impressed head coach Joe Mantegna.

Wangmene played his past two seasons at San Antonio Central Catholic where he averaged 22 points, 15 rebounds and a handful of blocks as a junior. The 6-8 power forward joins 6-7 combo forward Gary Johnson and 6-10 center Clint Chapman to form an impressive trio of front court players signed in the 2007 class by Texas.
