A DC junior gathers interest

Pitt head football coach Dave Wannstedt has indicated that he intends to recruit the Washington, DC area more heavily in the coming year. One play in might want to send his staff is back to St John's Prep.

In the recruiting Class of 2007 Pitt is still trying to land four-star defensive end Tony Tucker from St John's Prep. He has a junior teammate that may be of interest in the Class of 2008 in Gerald Moore (6' 0 " 180).

Moore does not yet have scholarship offer but has been receiving mail from Arkansas, Pitt, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Indiana, Syracuse, Kentucky, NC State, Boston College, Purdue, UConn, Northwestern, Illinois, West Virginia, Purdue and others.
