Elite 11 QB to play two sports?

It's not official yet, but Arkadelphia (Ark.) quarterback Rontrell Bailey is leaning toward playing football and basketball at Division I-AA Arkansas Pine-Bluff.

The Elite 11 quarterback selection spoke with Rivals.com on Tuesday night about his looming decision.

"Everything has been going pretty good lately," he said. "I'm still talking to Oklahoma State and Texas A&M, but I got a full scholarship offer for basketball and football at Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

"I have to decide where to go. If I decide to take just football, I will go to Texas A&M or Oklahoma State."

The coaches at UAPB originally just wanted Bailey for football, but after the basketball staff at the school scouted the combo guard, who averages just more than 28 points per game on the hardwood, they decided that they, too, wanted him.
