Szczerba makes a sacrifice for the future

Wilmington (Del.) Salesianum tight end and Penn State Class of 2007 commitment Andrew Szczerba secured a second consecutive state title earlier this month, but he is already looking toward his future.

The 2006 Gatorade Delaware State Player of the Year made a decision that will hopefully pay off for him and the Nittany Lions in the long run.

Szczerba has been told by the coaches that he will begin his Penn State career as a tight end. He took his official visit to State College on the weekend of Dec. 8 and said that he had a great time.
