Kinne's commitment:- What does it mean?

It's been a whirlwind last few weeks in recruiting for the Texas Longhorns, as they've gone from having two five-star prospects on their commitment list to losing Florida sensation John Brantley to then adding a commitment from East Texas three-star prospect G.J. Kinne. With Kinne's commitment, there are several questions that are being asked and Orangebloods.com publisher Geoff Ketchum will make an attempt to shed some light into each situation.

So, who is this kid and what are the Longhorns getting?

For those hoping that a Brantley for Kinne swap might translate to an even trade on the recruiting market, well… it's not. There's no question that Brantley's one of the nation's passing prospects and that there is a slight difference in their respective talent levels, but Kinne's ability shouldn't be underestimated by anyone. The 6-2, 207-pound Kinne is the reigning two-time Class 3A Offensive Player of the Year and just finished a senior season where he threw for 43 touchdowns and only one interception.
