Scarlet Nation catches Alexis at All Star warmup
Quickly evident to anyone attending practices for the Offense-Defense All American game is that there is no shortness of talent in America for collegiate football. Young men from all across the country flocked to South Florida this week to show off their skills, polish their moves, meet other players, enjoy the 80 degree January weather and, of course, play football.
The standouts so far for the week have been USC-bound linebacker John Campbell from Corona, California and LSU-bound wide receiver Dez Bryant from Lufkin, Texas. All of the traditional "big name" schools were represented, including USC, OSU, UF, Texas, Tennessee, Michigan, Notre Dame and so on. One school however, while not a total "newcomer" and not quite a traditional power, has certainly begun to make its mark on the national scene - Rutgers.
