FSU making a late run at Magnolia State RB

At one time it looked like Florida State would sign two running backs for the 2007 recruiting class. With national signing day just a few weeks away and no tailback commitments on board, that probably won't happen. One of just a couple backs left on the Seminoles' recruiting board is is Okolona, Mississippi's Robert Elliott.

It won't be an easy task for FSU to land the four-star prospect since he is currently committed to Ole Miss.

Despite his commitment to the Rebels, Elliott isn't shutting down his recruitment. In fact, he is pretty active making official visits to other schools. The No. 2 ranked player in the state of Mississippi visited the Rebels last week and still has more three trips to go.
