Chambers focused on three
Heading into this weekend's official visit to Mississippi State, Coffeeville (Miss.) running back Lee Chambers still considers himself a soft commitment to the Bulldogs. But the three-star prospect also has two out-of-state schools that he is strongly considering and is focused on those three primary suitors as his recruitment winds down.
"I'm not looking at anymore schools," Chambers said. "It's down to State, Alabama and Miami (Fla.). They are all the same right now.
"I can't say where everyone stands right now. I just have a lot on my mind. I have to sit down and talk with my father, girlfriend, mom, coach and everyone that helps me after my visits. That's kind of what I want to do, compare all the schools to each other."
Chambers took an official visit to Alabama last weekend. He heads to Starkville this weekend and Miami on Jan. 26.
"I had a great visit to Alabama," Chambers said. "It was fun and it blew me away. My host was (Oxford, Miss., product) Justin Woodall and we had a great time because he's a Mississippi boy like me. He showed me around the town, the new dorms and stuff like that. The main thing that he likes about Alabama is the people. They love their Alabama football players. Justin said they would just come up to him in the hall and say "Hey, you are Justin Woodall"
Chambers also enjoyed his meeting with new Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban.
