Camaraderie, city support, stand out to Brown
While many visitors over the weekend had seen their new school before, Tallahassee, Fla., linebacker Karlin Brown was taking his first trip to Starkville. As he took in new people and new places, several things stood out to him. He discusses those facets of the trip.
"Everything went well," he said. "The campus was lovely. The coaches really showed love for everybody there with open arms. Real caring folks. It was a perfect ten.
"Just from the time you came in the door they let you know that you are going to come up there. They called you every night, asked if everything is okay, are there any questions? If you need anything, they'll be there for you.
