ISU rings the Bell for Top 100 Texan
Round Rock (Tex.) Stony Point running back/linebacker prospect Cameron Bell said prior to an in-home visit from Gene Chizik Tuesday night that he was going to commit to Iowa State. And he followed through on his word. The new ISU head coach left Bell's house with a verbal pledge to join the Cyclones.
Stony Point assistant head coach Tom Lewinski confirmed Bell's commitment. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Bell had been previously committed to New Mexico State and was also offered by UTEP and Michigan State (prior to its coaching change).
