Panthers look to the City League

Over the years Pitt has looked to the Pittsburgh City League on a number of occasions. Panther defensive tackle Corey Davis played for Peabody. Quarterback Rod Rutherford enjoyed success in recent years recently at Pitt and played for Perry High School. A number of years ago running back Curtis Martin played for Taylor Allderdice and after playing for Pitt he went on to a long career in the NFL gaining over 14,000 yards.

Brashear coach Ron Wabby told the Pantherlair that Pitt coaches had offered Ed Tinker were looking at film on QB/LB Jermaine Robinson and WR/CB Quamane Bryant.
